Current and Future Projects

Help for Homelessness and Beyond is currently searching for investment properties to renovate and place families in. We are also looking for homes that can serve as transitional housing options for our shelter families to move into until their home is ready. We will partner with the City of Columbus Landbank to purchase homes for remodeling.

Services and Provisions

HHB provides the house for purchase. There is a monthly program fee that must be met through sponsorship or direct payments and donations.
We will work with each family to find jobs, programs, and training services to fit the family lifesyle. Some examples include: financial literacy and awareness training, homebuyer awareness training,  tax basics training, Construction services training, and any other invaluable community resources designed to help strengthen and build up our families and our community.

Pre-renovation Objectives

We are looking forward to transitioning homeless families into housing that fits their need and their budget. We assess each family needs and work with them to provide attainable goals for sustainability. Through the assessment we find out what services would best fit the family circumstances and work individually with them and other agencies in the community to put a plan of action in place for stability and growth.
Coming Soon.....

HHB will turn over the deed to the property that each family is assigned to after successful completion of the five year program. In order to receive your deed free and clear...Each family must complete 500 community service hours. At least 300 of these hours, must be spent assisting in the renovation of their home and the remainder has to be done in the community in which we live. All hours must be complete before the programs completion and the monthly project fees must be paid up to graduate.
